SIMONE ANDERSON – After completing Graphic Design at the Vaal Triangle Technikon, Simone Anderson started her career at Colors Reproduction, the ‘middle man’ between advertising agencies and print. After a year apprenticeship, she joined Caxton Community Newspapers for 10 years, gaining experience in ad design, newspaper and magazine layout, writing, training and management. With 4 Caxton Awards and a Sanlam Award for best ad designer under her belt, she decided to shift her focus to publishing. Having joined Future Publishing as a senior designer, she has worked on many custom titles such as Dainfern / Luxury Life, Toyota Zone, The South African, SA Inbound, African Hunting Gazette and The Advertising Annual to list a few. Since 2011 Simone has been working as an independent freelancer.
