How old were you when you started playing golf? I only recently started playing.

Who inspired your interest in the game? My Dad. He started taking my brother and I to the driving range last year because we weren’t allowed to play any other sports because of COVID-19.

Your golf idol? Dustin Johnson. He is a very good golfer and I like the way he plays in different situations.

Favourite course ever played? Rand Park Golf Course – Bushwillow

A funny moment you won’t forget: I was on the tee and I meant to hit with my driver and I missed the ball completely.

How often do you practice and what’s your practice routine? We try to go play golf every weekend and my parents also take me to the driving range. I like to practise with my driver, hybrids, irons and then I go to the putting green.

Balance between the school and the fairways? I have to finish my schoolwork before I am allowed to go and play golf.

Goals for your golfing career? I want to break 50 on a 9-hole course. One day, I want to win the Masters.

What other sport do you like to play besides golf? I play cricket.

What is your favourite thing to do when you are not on the course? Play cricket. I’ve been playing cricket since I was four years old. I love to play cricket with my friends.

Favourite movie? All of the Fast and Furious movies.

What is your motto? Always try your best and forget the rest.

What is your advice to other junior golfers? Never give up and keep on going.
