Zante is a very friendly little girl with a good soft-natured heart. She loves animals and the outdoors and playing games on her phone. She likes to practice something until she gets it right. She loves giving hugs to her mom and dad and helping around the house. She started playing golf because her dad plays very well. Her love for the game started growing from age seven and she has a natural talent for it.

What age were you when you started playing golf?
Started hitting golf balls when I was about seven years old.
Who inspired your interest in the game?
My dad and my oupa.
What is your favourite course ever played?
I have only played the courses at US Kids Golf tournaments – I think Centurion Golf Club was very nice.
How often do you practice and what’s your routine?
I practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the driving range and on the weekend again and then play on the mashie course as well. Whenever I have a free moment at home, I will also practice hitting the ball into the net my dad bought for me.
How do you achieve a balance between your school work and the fairways?
My mom and dad taught me that schoolwork is very important so I and I need to make sure that my homework is done every day, before I practice my golf.
What are your goals for your golfing career?
For now, I just want to learn as much as I can about the game, play my best and be able play a round with dad, on the weekends. My goal for the future is to become a professional golfer.
Have you ever met a famous golfer?
No, I have not met anyone as yet.
What is your motto?
Practice makes Perfect
What is your advice to other junior golfers?
Practice a lot and listen to your coaches.
